Paul Mustoe

Paul heads up the LB Group Tax Service Line. With 33 years of experience working in Tax, 25 of those years at LB Group (and in excess of 20 of those as a Director), Paul is extremely well placed to help clients achieve their goals of structuring their tax affairs as efficiently as possible and always remaining fully compliant. Paul is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and started specialising in taxation at just 16 years old, and at 18 becoming one of the very youngest tax specialists to pass the ATT exam at the time.

Whilst technically savvy and astute, Paul is a very practical Tax Adviser and clients appreciate his commercial approach to their issues. Paul specialises in all areas of taxation and is well equipped to help individuals, owner managed businesses/SME’s and larger corporates address the tax implications of their different financial transactions and minimise their liabilities through well thought out planning measures.

Much of his time is spent helping our corporate and personal clients structure their tax affairs efficiently and he also advises clients in relation to business acquisitions, disposals, mergers and restructuring and also has a good track record of settling HMRC tax enquiries in our clients’ favour.

Away from work, Paul is married with 2 adult children and enjoys golf and football (and the ups and downs of supporting Arsenal).
