Tom Butterworth Accepted to Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group (STPG)

We are delighted to announce Tom Butterworth, Associate Director in the Tax Team, has been accepted as a Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group (STPG) member.

The Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group (STPG) is a professional forum comprising over 200 stamp tax practitioners from the legal, accountancy, and surveying professions. The Group aims to help customers and their representatives understand HMRC’s delivery of Stamp Taxes.

Tom, who specialises in property tax, has 20 years’ experience in the Tax and Accountancy sector. His acceptance of membership status within the STPG indicates the strength of his specialism and expertise in the field.

As a member of the STPG, Tom will actively participate in HMRC and government consultations, along with other members, and support the Group in steering the development and progress of Stamp Taxes across the UK. This is an outstanding achievement for Tom, and we are delighted for him.
