Management buyout deal lands recognition at regional Dealmaker awards

LB Group Corporate Finance team gained recognition at the recent regional Insider UK Dealmaker awards and is shortlisted for the Deal of the Year (Small) national awards in February 2025 after advising on HRSRail Limited’s management buyout.

Stuart Sheldrick, Corporate Finance Director, and his team provided expertise and assistance in a management buyout deal for HRSRail Limited, a leading supplier of specialist track-related products to the UK rail industry, including IBJs, heritage rail supplies, and network-approved new rails.

Operating throughout the Southeast of England. HRSRail was founded in 2015 by Lance McKay and the management team, Ashley and Jake Noonan.

The sold-out awards were held at Lingfield Park Racecourse, with the regional winners going forward to UK Dealmakers – a new national event from Insider for 2025.

In February 2025, for the first time, Insider will bring together the winners from the regional Dealmakers under one roof to crown the ‘Champion of Champions’ at the Insider UK Dealmakers Awards.
