LB Group ranked in the top 3 of 50 SME UK Apprenticeship Employers

On Thursday 25^th July, during a special live broadcast – including an interview with the new Baroness Jacqui Smith Minister for Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education – it was revealed that LB Group has ranked 3^rd overall in the Top 50 SME UK Apprenticeship Employers!

The rankings celebrate England’s outstanding apprenticeship employers. The process is highly competitive and is based on the number of new apprenticeships that have been created over the last 12 months, the diversity of these apprentices, and the number of apprenticeships who have successfully completed an apprenticeship over the past year.

In September, our People & Culture team will be invited to a special lunch at the House of Commons to receive our certificate on behalf of the Department for Education which will be displayed proudly across our office sites!

Gaining this achievement is down to the amazing efforts of the teams and of course the apprentices themselves who demonstrate our core values and commitment to their learning and development. Gaining an accreditation such as this will help us as we continually strive to be an employer of choice and attract talent for the future of the business.” Said Clare Wilson, Group HR Manager.

Clare goes on to say “Nearly a quarter (23%) of our staff are apprentices – with 8 more apprentices joining us during August and September. Their dedication and commitment to studies, personal development, and growth are vital to laying the foundation for the success of our business”.
