Purpose of the role:
LB Group is recruiting for an Audit Senior Manager in our Colchester office. The Senior Manager role will be client facing, requiring a candidate who can demonstrate an excellent track record in Audit Practice with the ability to manage a team of Auditors.
Accountabilities:
The Senior Manager role will work closely with other Directors across the Group, responsibilities will include:
· Managing and planning the execution and completion of audits reporting to the senior leadership team.
· Managing a team of Managers and Auditors.
· Develop strong client relationships with regular attendance at client meetings.
· Completion of own compliance work including running sizable audit client portfolio.
· Review of budgets and projections prepared by staff.
· Liaise with financial institutions such as Banks, Factoring Companies, etc.
· Ensure quality of work and all practice procedures conform with regulations and LB protocols and methodology.
· Play a key role in the training of staff and maintaining a high technical level.
· Attend external events and represent the business in a professional manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal individual will be accomplished in all areas of auditing and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills You will have experience in:
· Delegating and supervising team members on all financial related assignments.
· Delivering results and meeting client/Partner/Manager expectations.
· Experience in mentoring and training staff.
· Excellent organisational and time management.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
