| Suffolk County Football Association announces LB Group as sponsor of Premier Cup |

Suffolk Football Association has announced that East Anglian-based chartered accountants and business advisers, LB Group, are to sponsor The Premier Cup, the county´s top competition, for 2008/9. The Premier Cup is hotly contested by teams including Ipswich Town Reserves, as well as AFC Sudbury and Bury Town, and clubs from across the Eastern Counties Premier division. Chris Annis of LB Group said, "When we became aware of this opportunity we simply jumped at it. Within LB Group we have a great sporting tradition and many of us support local teams and play in local leagues. We are great admirers of what Suffolk Football Association has achieved in recent years and are keen to support their efforts to promote fitness and teamwork through such exciting competitions. Suffolk FA Chief Executive, Martin Head, added "We are delighted that LB Group has decided to sponsor our Premier Cup, a competition with a rich history and one that captures the imagination of players and supporters alike as they dream of reaching a Portman Road final. We look forward to a long and successful relationship." The aim of Suffolk FA, through its recently incepted four year Suffolk Football Plan is to establish safe and structured football opportunities for the benefit of all concerned, irrespective of age, ethnic origin, gender or disability.
