The search is on for the east of England´s most inspirational men and women. Leading chartered accountants and business advisers, LB Group, have launched Inspiration East 2007 which seeks to recognise the special people who inspire others to succeed.

Now in its fifth year, Inspiration East honours people who have gone the extra mile to help others succeed in business, develop their talents and strive to reach their full potential.

Director of LB Group, Trevor Lake, explained that previous winners had included not only teachers and business mentors, but also team leaders, managers and supportive work colleagues.

Trevor said, "Most of us have known inspirational people in our lives. They could be those who took the time to encourage us through our work, sport or any other aspect of our lives. It could be a teacher or instructor, but equally well it could be a colleague who is always ready with words of advice and support. It could be a business leader who through their own drive and motivation inspires those around them to reach for the stars."

"These people make a huge difference to those around them. But their influence can go much further than that. they´re quite often the unsung heroes who make an enormous difference to the local, and even national, economy. Yet, quite often their contribution is never seen by the outside world. Inspiration East is a way to say ´thank you´ to those special individuals."
