Mike has helped numerous companies grow profitably and has advised many on acquisitions and disposals.

He has considerable experience of the commercial and manufacturing sectors.

A particular strength is his understanding of the challenges faced by directors and shareholders, especially those of owner managed companies.

Background

Mike began his career as a chartered accountant in a small City firm before becoming a manager of the London office of Peat Marwick Mitchell.

He worked for six years as senior member of finance team at Associated British Foods. There, his responsibilities included the production of accounts and forecasts, tax planning, acquisitions and liaison with City institutions.

Before founding the business that now trades as LB Group, he was a major shareholder and managing director of a small manufacturing company in the publishing and printing industry.

Tennis, golf and watching football.
