Chartered accountants and business advisers, LB Group, are to sponsor Suffolk Football Association's youth representative teams.

The agreement extends across the three teams - Under 18s, Under 16s and the young women's team - each of which represents Suffolk in inter-county games.

The Under 18s have been particularly successful in the last five years, reaching the FA County Youth Cup finals three times and lifting the trophy twice.

Paul Mustoe, director of LB Group and who enjoyed playing at amateur level for AFC Sudbury, said, "This sponsorship appeals to us at LB Group on many levels. Whilst we've only recently opened our office in Suffolk, many of us live in Suffolk, and we're keen to put something back into the community.

"Also, as a company, we're huge sports fans, with many keen supporters of the region's football teams amongst our number," he added. "It also ties in well with our commitments to developing talent, whether in the workplace, or on the sports field!"

Martin Head, Suffolk FA Chief Executive, said, "We built an excellent working relationship with LB Group when they sponsored the LB Group Suffolk Premier Cup last year. It's a relationship that works well for all concerned, and we're looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future."
